Vytis Knights Junior Basketball Program

The VYTIS Knights junior program is dedicated to working with kids of Geelong to build their basketball skills, keep active and have fun with friends in an inclusive environment.

The Knights program endeavours to eventually have teams in all age groups of the local Geelong United basketball club competition to ensure there is a team for kids of all ages and backgrounds to play in a safe environment as they grow and develop their love of basketball.

Many of our previous juniors have gone on to play representative basketball for Geelong, Stingrays and for the Supercats.

We have an Aussie Hoops program that is run on a Monday at 4pm each school term, this program is recommended for children of ages 5 - 8 and is a great starting point for children to learn the basics of the game and start their basketball journey. For Children aged 7 and above we have junior teams to join. Our training program means that you can join a junior team without any prior experience. Each season runs across two terms. Summer season commences in Term 4 and Winter season in Term 2. Depending on availability of space within teams we often accept registrations mid season.
