Ford Aussie Hoops is Australia’s official junior game development program recommended for 5-8 year olds.

Sessions are 45 mins in length.

Term 4 Aussie Hoops will commence on Monday 20th October 2025 and will run for 9 sessions concluding December 15 2025.

Cost

$65 + association fees*

*Association fees are currently:
$5 for Basketball Victoria
and
$4.50 for Basketball Australia.

This price does not include merchandise. The Aussie Hoops Merchandise pack can be added on during the registration process. The Core pack is available for all Victorian participants which includes reversible singlet, size 4 or 5 basketball, and stickers.
The pack is $50 and can be purchased with registration.

PayPal’s Pay in 4 is offered as a payment option.

Aussie Hoops is a national program which provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve and reap the rewards of basketball skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social cooperation and grassroots sports participation. Aussie Hoops introduces children to basketball in a structured and accredited environment that connects our game at the grassroots through to the elite level. The coaching curriculum and sequentially developed program consists of warm-up games, skill activities and modified games all delivered by accredited coaches.

All participants receive a certificate of completion for each term.

We recommend completing at least a term of Aussie Hoops if you are 5 or 6 years old prior to joining a team. If you are 7 or over you may be able to jump straight into the knights junior program.
