$4.50 for Basketball Australia.

This price does not include merchandise. You will receive a welcome email from Mber+ (within 24 hours of completing registration) to purchase merchandise including basketballs and personalised singlets. The Core pack is available for all Victorian participants which includes reversible singlet, size 4 or 5 basketball, and stickers.
The pack is $50 and can be purchased after registration via the email you receive from Mber+. PayPal’s Pay in 4 is offered as a payment option.

Aussie Hoops

Aussie Hoops is Australia’s official junior game development program recommended for 5-8 year olds.

Aussie Hoops is a national program which provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve and reap the rewards of basketball skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social cooperation and grassroots sports participation. Aussie Hoops introduces children to basketball in a structured and accredited environment that connects our game at the grassroots through to the elite level. The coaching curriculum and sequentially developed program consists of warm-up games, skill activities and modified games all delivered by accredited coaches.

Benefits for Children

  • Children learn the fundamental motor skills for future physical activity and sports participation;

  • Children learn the basics of fitness conditioning, muscle management and well-being;

  • Children learn the importance of health and nutrition;

  • Important physiological and mental skills are nurtured;

  • Contact with coaches, ambassadors, older children and parents provides valuable role modelling;

  • Children are exposed to the Australian Basketball pathway from Aussie Hoops through to the elite level; and

We recommend completing at least a term of Aussie Hoops if you are 5 or 6 years old prior to joining a team. If you are 7 or over you may be able to jump straight into the knights junior program.
